Acabei de sair de uma turma maravilhosa, me sinto muito lisonjeada em tê-los como meus alunos, melhor ainda, é muito bom ter alunos tão animados e com o alto-astral lá em cima. Finalizei um dia pesado e cansativo da melhor forma possível. Deus os conserve assim, todas as terças e quintas. Amém. kkkkkkkkkk I LOVE YOU!

Geralmente, quando estamos lendo ou escrevendo algo em inglês, nós nos confundimos a respeito dos significados e empregos corretos de Every day e Everyday. É fácil acabar com essa confusão. Veja:
Every day, escrito com duas palavras separadas, significa “todos os dias”:
- I speak to my father on the phone almost every day. (Falo com meu pai por telephone quase todos os dias.)
Everyday, escrito como uma única palavra, é adjetivo e significa “comum, normal”. Everyday é sempre usado antes de um substantivo:
- He painted pictures of everyday objects. (Ele pintava quadros de objetos comuns.)

Oiiiii!!!
Pessoal, tenho que contar-lhes algo que acabamos de finalizar aqui no ALL.... adivinha só????? A notícia é boa...
Neste fim de semana tivemos uma reunião e foi definida a data do próximo festival que haverá no curso. Oba! Que bom!!! Sempre foi um espetáculo todas as nossas festas e essa em especial será um arraaaaso!!
Será o primeiro ALL Fantasy que o curso promoverá na cidade, aguardem mais nóticias.
De antemão deixo aqui a data para vocês terem um gostinho do quanto será bom....

The classes began today and I'm so excited!!! I was feeling really miss my students and at the same time I was anxious to know the profile of the new students however I still miss my last students.
I had my first new class today. I don't have nothing to say about the students because they were amazing!!! I really enjoyed them I hope to do my best for them to improve their English.

Fuçando na internet, achei este artigo interessantísimo, escrito por Daniela Vicenti que é paulista, morou fora do país e é também mais uma apaixonada pela língua inglesa como todos nós.
A língua inglesa é IMPRESCINDÍVEL nos dias atuais, pois a globalização faz com que se torne algo FUNDAMENTAL. O Inglês é a língua internacional, a língua dos estudos, das viagens, dos negócios, enfim, a língua da COMUNICAÇÃO com todo o MUNDO.
Todos os dias nós convivemos com uma série de palavras em inglês, daí percebemos a IMPORTÂNCIA e a INFLUÊNCIA que exerce sobre a nossa cultura. Veja abaixo alguns exemplos de palavras em Inglês que usamos em nosso cotidiano:

No MERCADO DE TRABALHO, o Inglês virou atributo ESSENCIAL para a conquista da maioria das vagas de nível universitário. Quantas vezes você já ouviu alguém dizer: “Perdi a oportunidade, pois não sei Inglês”. Pois é, mesmo que o candidato não vá utilizar o Inglês ou vá utilizar muito pouco em seu novo emprego, somente o fato de saber Inglês, já é um diferencial em seu currículo. Pesquisas salariais revelam que o salário de uma pessoa que tem um segundo idioma é de 30% a mais em relação ao salário de outra que tenha apenas um idioma.
Com a GLOBALIZAÇÃO, muitos brasileiros têm ido ao exterior para estudos, negócios e férias. Da mesma forma muitos estrangeiros também têm vindo para o Brasil com as mesmas finalidades. Nestas horas qual a língua mais comum que utilizamos para comunicar-nos com os estrangeiros? O INGLÊS.
Apesar de haver muitos profissionais com Inglês, a maioria se enquadra no nível básico para o intermediário, portanto ter fluência nesta língua ainda é um diferencial bastante competitivo para conseguir postos mais altos. Por isso se você quer entrar no mercado de trabalho e ganhar bem, dedique-se a aprender o INGLÊS ou outra língua estrangeira. Devido ao MERCOSUL o Espanhol também tem ganhado bastante importância nos últimos anos, contudo por ser um idioma parecido com o Português, a fluência não é tão exigida como no Inglês.
Não existem métodos milagrosos nem escolas excepcionais que o tornarão num “expert” em Inglês em pouco tempo. Na realidade é um estudo longo que dependerá apenas de seu esforço e vontade de querer aprender cada vez mais. Minha dica é utilizar diferentes métodos para estudar outro idioma, como filmes, músicas e livros que sejam de seu interesse, ou seja, algo que você goste e que dê prazer em estudar, pois somente uma sala de aula com livro didático e um professor, não é o suficiente.

The book is called “A Princess of Mars.” It is the first book in a series that Mister Burroughs wrote about a man who travels to Mars during the last years of the eighteen hundreds. There, the man meets strange beings and sees strange sights. At first he is a captive, then a warrior, and after many battles, a prince of a royal family.

Powell was trained as a mining engineer. He said we had uncovered over a million dollars worth of gold in only three months. But the work was slow with only two men and not much equipment. So we decided Powell should go to the nearest settlement to seek equipment and men to help us with the work. On March third, eighteen sixty-six, Powell said good-bye. He rode his horse down the mountain toward the valley. I followed his progress for several hours.
The morning Powell left was like all mornings in the deserts of the great Southwest -- clear and beautiful.
Not much later I looked across the valley. I was surprised to see three riders in the same place where I had last seen my friend. After watching for some time, I decided the three riders must be hostile Indians.
Powell, I knew, was well armed and an experienced soldier. But I knew he would need my aid. I found my weapons, placed a saddle on my horse and started as fast as possible down the trail taken by Powell.
I followed as quickly as I could until dark. About nine o’clock the moon became very bright. I had no difficulty following Powell’s trail. I soon found the trail left by the three riders following Powell. I knew they were Indians. I was sure they wanted to capture Powell.

I found myself lying on a bed of yellow colored grass that covered the land for kilometers. The time was near the middle of the day and the sun was shining full upon me. It was warm.
I decided to do a little exploring. Springing to my feet, I received my first Martian surprise. The effort to stand carried me into the Martian air to the height of about one meter. I landed softly upon the ground, however, without incident.
I found that I must learn to walk all over again. My muscles were used to the gravity of Earth. Mars has less gravity. My attempts to walk resulted in jumps and hops, which took me into the air. I once landed on my face. I soon learned that it took much less effort for me to move on Mars than it did on Earth.
Near me was a small, low wall. Carefully, I made my way to the wall and looked over. It was filled with eggs, some already broken open. Small, green creatures were in them. They looked at me with huge red eyes.

Cirurgia na língua promete melhorar a pronúncia do Inglês
Você já pensou em passar por uma cirurgia na língua com o objetivo de melhorar a sua pronúncia de Inglês? É exatamente isso que os Chineses estão fazendo.
A cirurgia consiste em um pequeno corte na parte inferior da língua e isso, segundo os médicos, pode melhorar a pronúncia dos pacientes.
Alguns professores Chineses são totalmente contra esta prática, veja o que eles dizem: “It’s a waste of time, waste of money”.

Beats me!Donald has a good heart because he tried to help Charlie, but Charlie is happy with what he has. His friends make him happy. Donald in the beginning didn't understand why Charlie didn't stay at Plaza Hotel, but then Donald understood.The most valuable of the life is the love that we keep in the heart.

Nessa imagem estavamos fazendo uma atividade lúdica, fizemos um bingo utilizando vocabulário novo.
Essas minhas crianças estão tão perigosas! Hum. Mas amo todos vocês!
Faltaram alguns alunos, mas temos:
Lucas(bastante interessado e inteligente, mas está falante todo não é Lucas?);
Letícia (a que está de frajinha de emo, nem queria tirar foto mas olha a pose dela, muito alegre, e inteligente);
Tharsi (entrou esse semestre nessa turma, mas é super inteligente também);
Flávia ( é muito dedicada, responsável, e inteligentíssima);
E agora Déborah (Também entrou esse semestre, mas já está dando show. Faz todas as atividade direitinho, super esforçada, inteligente.. )
Eita, mas nessa turma só tem criança(Opa, criança não, pré adolescente) inteligente.!!

- Estude num lugar calmo e sem barulho.
- Crie um horário de estudo diário para revisar a lição vista em sala de aula.
- Realize os deveres de casa como forma de fixação do conteúdo abordado.
- Procure esclarecer todas as dúvidas com o professor durante as aulas ou dias de reforço.
- Procure desenvolver todas as atividades propostas pelos professores e participar dos trabalhos.
- Procure dormir no mínimo oito horas por dia para não ter sono durante as aulas.
- Tente assistir filmes sem legendas em inglês e espanhol pelo menos uma vez por semana para se habituar a escutar nativos se comunicando.
- Use e abuse do dicionário, pois assim você irá aumentar seu vocabulário e entender melhor os textos.
- Aproveite as atividades extraclasse.
- Use um gravador para ouvir sua pronúncia e praticar a autocorreção.
- Faça amigos pela internet que falem inglês ou espanhol para aprimorar a sua forma de escrever em outro idioma.
- Treine escrevendo as palavras que você tem dificuldade várias vezes. Depois tente escrevê-las sem consultar.

Beyoncé será a grande estrela do réveillon carioca, a cantora se apresentará em palco na praia de Copacabana. A prefeitura da cidade já anunciou.. uhuhuhuhuhuhuh!!!!
Recentemente eleita pela revista "Billboard" como a "mulher do ano", a cantora Beyoncé deve encantar os brasileiros - principalmente os cariocas - com sua presença. De acordo com a coluna Gente Boa, do jornal O Globo, a diva será a grande atrãção da tradicioanl festa de réveillon de Copacabana. Eu estarei lá!!!!!!!!

Vida (muito) longa e próspera aos Simpsons: a Fox americana encomendou mais duas temporadas do desenho de Homer, Bart e companhia - o que fará da série a de maior longevidade no horário nobre na história da TV americana! Ao todo, serão mais 44 episódios garantidos, dando ao desenho o total de 493 episódios.
O novo contrato garante a permanência dos dubladores originais da atração. Boa! Uma vez chegando a 21ª temporada - a próxima -, "Os Simpsons" já irá superar "Gunsmoke"(que é um seriado faroeste), que durou vinte temporadas na TV americana.
